Almar Experience: three nights of electronic music festival in the idyllic Caribbean Sea

The event that "promises to uplift the spirit" with tech house, techno, and electronic vibes brings Colombian talent to the island of Curaçao.

Some of Colombia's best electronic music talent will offer three nights of partying in the idyllic Caribbean Sea off the island of Curaçao with the Almar Festival. This Colombian-designed project seeks to offer an Ibiza-style experience to put the continent on the radar for high-end, all-inclusive parties.

For three nights and four days, from August 16th to 19th, Curaçao will witness the first edition of the Almar Festival, an event organized by Colombian electronic music exponents who saw an opportunity in the local scene to showcase talent abroad. An experience that goes beyond music.

"More than a typical festival, it's a beach experience."

"We have our own electronic music festival, which is more of a beach experience than a typical festival. We're inspired by important electronic music festivals held in other countries, such as those in Croatia or those typical parties in Ibiza that are more boutique," says Duran, who, in addition to working on the organization, is part of the lineup, mixing Caribbean rhythms.

Joining him is DJ Sebastián Morxx, known for his house, tech house, and techno sounds. He emphasizes that they don't just want to put on a musical show, but rather a complete experience where the audience can enjoy the sea and the Caribbean wonders of the island.

Furthermore, Morxx emphasizes that "attendees don't have to worry about travel or accommodations," as the experience is all-inclusive, with food, drinks, and rooms at some of the most exclusive resorts.

In other words, it offers the opportunity to experience not only a beach party but also water activities, relaxation, yoga, and spa treatments, as well as connecting with the culture of this island near Colombia, which can be entered visa-free, just with a passport.

Colombian talent

The curated lineup of artists features a standout lineup featuring Colombian DJs such as Kamilo Sanclemente, Sebastián Xottelo, Duran, Sebastián Morxx, Fabian Hernández, Solaria, Xaman, Alejo Chaves, Felipe Grisales, Elementary, Frutico, John Reyna, Kaiser, Leonardo Roa, Levi and Oskrmao, Motopug, Edu Torres, Osskar, Prieto Kolorao, and The Faces.

"Colombia is very much in the spotlight, it's completely on trend, and we need to continue showcasing talent, which is why we wanted to give this festival our all," says Duran.

The lineup is rounded out by a local artist: Ziko, a singer-songwriter and producer born and raised in Curaçao.

Four days and three nights of partying.

"It's a luxury experience, where people don't have to worry about anything."

The event organizers have been inspired by the high-profile festivals they have participated in. They want to show that South America also has the talent and capacity to offer a complete experience for electronic music and beach lovers.

Admission to Almar Festival includes four days and three nights at a five-star hotel, food and drinks at the hotel, airport transfers, transportation to and from the airport, transportation to and from the events, and admission to the events.

The festival will begin at the all-inclusive Hilton resort, the Rif at Mangrove Beach. The second day will feature a party at the Madero Ocean Club, and the third night will feature the closing ceremony at the Playa Beach Club.
